“Over the course of 3 days, you (rescue personnel) worked round the clock, completed a difficult operation and saved lives of several citizens. Entire country has appreciated your efforts. Though we’re sad that the lives of some people couldn’t be saved,” Modi said.

At least three people died and 63 others were rescued after the 766-metre cableway connecting to a pilgrimage site on Trikut hills developed a snag on Sunday, leading to a collision between two cars.

ED attaches 8 properties belonging to Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday attached eight properties belonging to Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.
Malik, the 62-year-old senior leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) is presently in judicial custody. He was arrested on February 23 by the ED in connection with a money laundering case against fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim and some of his close aides.
