TULSA, Okla. — FOX23 is honoring Black History Month by highlighting people who are making history by pushing their communities forward.
In the heart of greenwood, where African American businesses thrived 100 years ago.
At Rose Tax Solutions, Latoya Rose is helping make sure businesses bloom and generational poverty curses are broken.
“Black history is 365 at Rose Tax Solutions and really just understanding that our communities our minority communities especially African American as it relates to the wealth gaps and generational wealth issues. We want to break those gaps,” she said.
Not only does rose help file taxes, but year round she hosts financial literacy talks.
She says her financial groups aren’t geared toward just young people, she also helps elderly people set them up or navigate retirement.
The goal for rose tax solutions is to help you create your own economy.
