Prime Gaming is one of those widely forgotten benefits of a Twitch Prime subscription. Beyond being able to subscribe to your favorite streamers and unlock exclusive emotes to use in their chats, you’re also able to claim a list of free games each month. Most of the time though, the list of free games are indies that, while genuinely great in their own right, are often forgotten for their smaller scale and lack of marketing. Trust me, I’m not happy about that fact, but it’s the reality we live in. For January 2022 though, Prime Gaming has come out with the big guns with a list of games both big and small worth checking out! The following can be claimed until early next month to keep forever:

It’s worth noting before you claim any of the above titles that these are not codes for Steam versions of the games. This is due both to agreements with Twitch and Amazon, as well as third parties. For reference, the first code is for Origin, the second and third codes are for Epic Games, and the rest are for the Amazon Games app. While the former two platforms are fairly straightforward, you can get the Amazon Games App either by searching it up or pressing the “Download for Windows” button when claiming any of the games that need it.
That aside though, these are some heavy hitters. Warhammer is fantastic for those who appreciate a little grand strategy in their life, while Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is fantastic for story game fans. Even some of the indies on the Amazon Games App are great. Two Point Hospital is incredibly solid as a management sim, while games like Fahrenheit and In Other Waters have received plenty of praise.
