A cold front is expected to move in late Tuesday. Counties north of Bexar County, like Comal and Gonzalez, will be under a marginal risk for strong to severe storms overnight Tuesday into early Wednesday morning, according to the NWS. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are the biggest threats, the NWS said.
For Bexar County and San Antonio, there is a slight potential for storms to develop that may produce gusty conditions and small hail. The weather service, however, does not expect severe storms in San Antonio as of Monday afternoon.

The National Weather Service on Monday issued another red flag warning for the San Antonio area, which is experiencing high temperatures and low humidity.
The red flag warning is in effect until 8 p.m. Monday. More warnings may be issued throughout the week as San Antonio is expected to experience wind speeds of up to 20 mph and wind gusts as high as 35 mph through Saturday, according to the NWS.
The winds, coupled with the low humidity, will lead to elevated to critical fire weather conditions each day this week. The biggest threats will be on Wednesday and Saturday, when wind speeds will be at their highest and the humidity at its lowest.
Temperatures will be in the mid to high 80s through Saturday, with overnight temps in the 50s and 60s.
The only relief from the dry weather this week may come Tuesday overnight into Wednesday, when there is a 50 percent chance for thunderstorms. There is also a chance for light showers Friday night into the early morning hours of Saturday.
